Amy Jones-Goedecke

Family Nurse Practitioner, ARNP, MNS / Owner of Lakeside Family Medicine

Amy graduated with her BSN from East Central University, BA Southeastern Oklahoma State University, and Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner from Graceland University in 2015.

Born and raised in Marshall County. Amy’s dream of a career in healthcare began early when she was a little girl because she wanted to be just like her Mother, and follow in her footsteps. Amy’s career started in 1992 when she and her mother started Pilot Point Home Health. She and her mother worked side by side for many years until her Mother’s death in 2012. Amy was active and served on the Board of Directors for the Texas Association for Home Care and Hospice for many years, advocating for the rights of the elderly by lobbying on Capitol Hill. Amy has a serving heart and lovingly cares for her patients. Her primary goal for Lakeside Family Medicine is to provide a family like atmosphere for patients and her staff. Amy states that, “patients are not just a number or dollar amount to me, they are part of my extended family and they are my friends. It is my goal to care for my patients to the best of my ability and to be their health care advocate in the these trying times.”

She has been happily married to Chris since 1995 and they reside in Whitesboro, Texas where they raised their twins, Christian and AnnaKate. The family also loves animals and has one dog, three grand dogs, and several stray cats that are now apart of the family.
